During a consulting engagement with Riley Blake Designs, a leading textile manufacturer generating more than $60 million in annual revenue, Benjamin Young led a complex financial cleanup initiative focused on resolving systemic inventory and accounting discrepancies within NetSuite. Through detailed analysis of more than 16,000 lines of transactional data, he identified the root causes of recurring inventory variances and helped implement corrective controls that improved long-term financial data integrity, including identifying a $1.8 million inventory correction. In addition to supporting ERP and financial system optimization using NetSuite and MineralTree, he streamlined workflows involving accrued purchase orders, prepaid inventory, and tariff accounting. Benjamin Young also conducted operational and workflow assessments during a critical 90-day engagement, providing leadership with strategic recommendations related to staffing capacity, process efficiency, and financial operations improvement.
