Benjamin Young currently serves as National Treasurer for the Reserve Organization of America (ROA), a national organization representing Reserve and National Guard officers across the United States. In this role, he supports financial governance, budgeting oversight, and long-range financial stewardship for the organization, working alongside national leadership and board members to ensure responsible management of organizational resources.

This role reflects a high level of trust, accountability, and nonprofit financial leadership, reinforcing Benjamin Young’s experience in financial oversight, governance, and organizational accountability at a national level.

Benjamin Young has been an active leader within the Utah Association of CPAs (UACPA), including service as a chapter president and participation in statewide professional leadership initiatives. His involvement with UACPA has focused on advancing the accounting profession, supporting professional development, and strengthening the pipeline of future CPAs in Utah.

He was recognized as the Outstanding Leadership Council Member in 2017, reflecting his long-standing commitment to professional excellence, mentorship, and leadership within the accounting community.

In addition to his civilian accounting career, Benjamin Young serves as a Major in the United States Army Reserve. His military leadership experience includes operational planning, organizational resource management, logistics coordination, and executive-level staff leadership in complex environments.

He has served as a Battalion Executive Officer (XO) and has supported multinational operations and sustainment planning during major training exercises, including Exercise Balikatan in the Philippines. This background reinforces a disciplined, mission-focused leadership approach that complements his work in financial operations and organizational management.
